In addition to providing compliance accounting services, Shawn's greatest professional interest and area of expertise lies with the provincial and federal SR&ED tax incentives.  Having obtained cash and tax credits totaling over three million dollars for clients in the past year alone, one of Shawn’s goals is to spread the word to businesses of the existence of the SR&ED program and its benefits.

Shawn also has an established practice which includes clients in manufacturing, real estate development, film production as well as medical and dental professionals to name a few. He works closely with his clients to minimize their tax exposure with the help of SBLR’s senior tax department.

Shawn has a B.Sc from Dalhousie and a B.Comm from the University of Windsor.  He earned his CA designation in 1985 and is a founding member of a Toronto-based BNI Corporate Chapter.
