CA – Partner

Shawn is a founding partner at SBLR, with an established practice of entrepreneurial clients in manufacturing, food processing, real estate, distribution and professional services. He works closely with his clients to minimize their tax exposure with the help of SBLR’s strategic tax department.

In addition to providing assurance accounting, tax planning and business advisory services, Shawn is also our resident expert on Scientific Research & Experimental Development (SR&ED) tax credits. Having obtained cash and tax credits totaling over three million dollars for clients in the past year alone, one of Shawn’s goals is to spread the word to businesses of the existence of the SR&ED program and its benefits.

Shawn represents SBLR as a Trusted Advisor to TEC Canada – an executive forum for business owners. He is also an active member of a corporate chapter of Business Networking International (BNI).
